Itinerary

Day 1INDIA - YANGON

Welcome to Myanmar – On arrival at Yangon international airport, Myanmar. Our local Tour coordinator receives you and takes you to the hotel. Afternoon we check in to the hotel. After lunch gets refreshed & relaxed, today we go on the Yangon city tour You can then stroll along the street before driving to Botahtaung Pagoda famous for its golden decorations. Also visit the Bogyoke Market which deals with several traditional Burmese handicrafts made up of bronze carvings, stone, and wood. You will be heading in the direction of Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha in the afternoon with your loved ones visiting Shwedagon Pagoda to learn more about the history and heritage of Burma, You should also make sure that you capture the views of the pristine sunset before heading back to your hotel. Day 2YANGON

After breakfast today we go on a Syriam excursion, Your full-day excursion to Syriam will start with an only a 45-minute drive across the Bago River from Yangon. It is segmented according to states from Mon to Kayah and comprises traditional houses of the country’s eight major ethnic groups. Visitors may wander through the houses to discover the various crafts, ethnic clothes, and tools of Myanmar’s indigenous people. Then, proceed to Than-lyin. Tour highlights; Ruins of the old Portuguese Churches in the centre of town, the ruins of a Catholic church built by an Italian Barnabite missionary can still be seen, Kyaik-Khauk Pagoda; it perches on the hillock of the town, an imposing golden stupa similar to the Shwedagon with a history dated back over 2,000 years. The two tombs in front of the pagoda are Myanmar writers Natshinnaung and Padethayaza who wrote about ordinary people in the Ava period and were captured by Mon. Later, proceeds to Kyauk-Tan Pagoda (a Pagoda on a small island on a tributary of Yangon’s river), on the way, stops at Bada-Gyi village, to see 41 feet high, 100 years old, huge Seated Buddha Image. enjoy the sunset while driving back to Yangon passing by Thanlyin Bridge which is linking the cities of Thanlyin and Yangon. The bridge crosses the 1-km wide Bagoriver, about 42 km northeast from the river’s confluence with Yangon River and has a single rail track in the middle, surrounded by a motor roadway on each side. Day 3YANGON - MANDALAY

After a buffet breakfast we check out the hotel in Yangon and we move to Mandalay. Afternoon we check in to the hotel. After lunch gets refreshed & relaxed, the spiritual hub of Myanmar and claims residence to around 3,000 monks and nearly 100 meditation shrines. You’ll visit some of the most beautiful pagodas, a small local market and a pottery village which is recognized for manufacturing Myanmar’s ubiquitous water pots using traditional methods. At the end of the afternoon, you will walk around Amarapura, Myanmar’s penultimate royal capital and City of Immortality. First, you will stop at a silk weaving workshop known for its exquisite merchandise. As the sun is about to set, you will walk on the legendary U Bein Bridge, built-in 1782, which is said to be the longest teakwood bridge in the world. Enjoy the very special atmosphere as the late afternoon sun casts long shadows and illuminates the local people heading home, before heading back to Mandalay. Day 4MANDALAY

After a buffet breakfast, we drive to the Mandalay jetty and board a private local boat for a 1-hr cruise on the Irrawaddy River to Mingu Visit the main sites of Mingun beginning with the famous Mingun Pahtodawgyi. This huge brick structure was left unfinished after an astrologer predicted the King would die should the temple be completed. In the 1800s, an earthquake left several large cracks in the structure. Continue to the beautiful Hsinbyume Pagoda, whose distinctive style is meant to resemble the mythical Mount Meru. Then, see the Mingun Bell which, weighing in at more than 90 tons, is considered the world’s largest uncracked ringing bell. Lunch on board while returning to Mandalay.Mandalay is well-known for its skilled craftsmen and learns about the city’s unique cottage industry. Observe the production of wood carvings, kalamata pastries, and gold leaf using techniques that have remained unchanged for centuries. Spence moments experience to offer a Gold leaf to the shrine as per local customs. Next, visit Mahamuni Pagoda. This pagoda is home to one of the country’s most revered Buddha images which, over the years, has been covered with metres of gold leaf, giving it a distinct lumpy texture. This is the perfect place to witness Burmese culture in action, as a great number of locals come to pay their respects and earn merit. Night Enjoy with Indian veg / non-veg dinner. Day 5MANDALAY - LUANG PRABANG

After a buffet breakfast we check out the hotel in Mandalay and we go airport to catch the flight to go to Luang Prabang. On arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport in Laos. Our local Tour coordinator receives you and takes you to the hotel. Afternoon we check in to the hotel. After lunch gets refreshed & relaxed, Evening is free for shopping / optional tours. Your hotel has been carefully chosen and is ideally located close to exciting shopping malls and stylish restaurants. Night Enjoy Indian veg / non-veg dinner. Overnight stay at a hotel in Luang Prabang. ( FREE & RELAX ).

Day 6LUANG PRABANG

After a Buffet breakfast, We Proceed to the Luang Prabang heritage area with an experienced local guide. Explore the culture and history of Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on this half-day tour. Luang Prabang, the former royal capital, is situated on the Mekong River and surrounded by beautiful green mountains. The town itself is picturesque and offers a wonderful mix of ancient temples and French-Indochinese architecture. This tour’s destinations include the main highlights of Luang Prabang centre-town such as Buddhist temples, Royal Palace, museum, and local market. centre etc. After lunch gets refreshed & relaxed, Evening is free for shopping / optional tours. Day 7LUANG PRABANG - VANG VIENG

After a Buffet breakfast, We check out the hotel in Luang Prabang and then move to Vang Vieng. Afternoon we check in to the hotel. After lunch get a refresh & relaxation after we will visit Vieng city. Take a pushbike and proceed to explore the iconic wonders of the city. Stop at the serene swimming holes, discover the breathtaking limestone caves,

and interact with the local people enjoying their lives in the peaceful countryside of Laos. In the evening, head to explore the intriguing local caves and serene rivers or bask in the sunset views. Night Enjoy Indian veg / non-veg dinner. Overnight stay at a hotel in Vang Vieng. ( CITY TOUR ).

Day 8VANG VIENG - INDIA
