After a buffet breakfast, Drive alongside the bank of the Indus river till Sangam, to witness the conflicts between the Zanskar river and the Indus River. En route, we will be visiting the Hall of Fame (which has a museum of the Kargil War memorabilia), Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity), and Gurdwara Pathar Sahib. After a buffet breakfast, check out of the hotel & we will start our journey to Nubra Valley through Khardungla, which is the World’s highest motorable road at 18,832 feet above sea level. At Khardungla pass the snow-capped peaks and the mountain views are amazing. The road then passes through a bridge laid on a Glacier which finds its way into the Guinness Book of world records. Drive through the Valley which is extremely beautiful for photography. Nubra Valley is the Oasis of Ladakh as you see some colorful trees in this region. Arrive in Nubra and enjoy an adventurous ATV ride (on a complimentary basis, one time). Later reach your camp, check-in & enjoy your lunch. Post lunch, visit the Hunder sand dunes and get the sight of the Double Humped Bactrian camels (camel ride to be on direct payment basis), enjoy leisure time at the Sand Dunes of Nubra valley spread across Hundur Village. after reaching, we check in to hotel. After a buffet breakfast, check out of the hotel & we leave for Pangong Lake at 14, 500 ft. via Agham & Shyok village and reach Pangong Lake. Pangong is the highest saltwater lake in the world. Take in the breathtaking views and setting of the blue lake set amidst the lofty Himalayan Mountains. Check in to your Hotel & enjoy your lunch. After a buffet breakfast, check out of the hotel & we drive to visit Hemis Monastery situated 45km west of Leh; Hemis is the largest and the wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. From Hemis, you are driven back taking the same route to visit Thiksey Monastery, located on a hill-lock with formidable views of the Indus valley. Thiksey is especially noteworthy for its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya and is also known for its (Dukhang) assembly hall which houses hundreds of rectangular prayer books, stacked between wooden covers and bound in silk. After that, we continue to drive through a series of chortens (Stupa) to visit Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh and Shey Palace. Afternoon sightseeing of the Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the brother-in-law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife empress Nur Jahan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background Later, proceed towards your Houseboat. Welcome Tea on the Check-in, when we think of Kashmir, the first thing that comes to our Mind is “Houseboats”. Staying on a Houseboat means living in Paradise, an experience one is not likely to find anywhere else on the surface of the earth. Sonmarg is at 98kms from Srinagar and it will take about 3 hours to reach Sonmarg. The moment you enter Sonmarg, the first thing that you notice will be the snow-covered mountains that form the backdrop of the town. Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonmarg has a few of the loveliest flower collections in Jammu and Kashmir. After a buffet breakfast, depart for an excursion trip to Chandanwadi, the Starting point of Amarnath Yatra & Betab valley, located on the way to Chandanwari, the valley was named Betaab after the Bollywood movie by the same name! Earlier known as Hajan Valley, after the release of the movie, it was renamed as a major part of the movie was shot here. Afternoon, proceeds for a trip to Aru Valley – Aru Valley is a tourist spot 11 km from Pahalgam noted for its scenic meadows, and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake.
